The Red Party by Performa… Like every other Performa event, I left Saturday’s party with my mind completely blown. The theme was a tribute to Russian Constructivism but the dress code on the invitation simply said red. Much to my surprise, almost every attendee came decked out accordingly and KRELwear provided “quickie couture” for those with outfits that were deemed too timid. Here are a few of the other highlights from the evening: a monotone meal (everything for dinner was red - including my wine), running around in a room padded with cotton candy for dessert, beautiful toasts, countless performances, a live marching band, mark hats and watching the host yell down to a sea of his cheering comrades. It was, without a doubt, one of the most incredible and inspiring events that I’ve ever attended.
